About Imperial Lodge

Recently acquired (in Spring 2026), Imperial Lodge features 28 classically styled, well‑kept rooms, making it a great choice for reasonably priced short breaks, coastal getaways and longer stays, with guests still able to draw upon the experience and care of the Imperial Hotel team.

Situated next door to the Imperial Hotel overlooking Great Yarmouth’s sandy North Beach, Imperial Lodge provides a range of accommodation for solo travellers, couples and families.

Bedrooms are designed with practicality and comfort in mind, combining modern essentials with traditional seaside character to ensure a pleasant and restful stay.

Like Imperial Hotel, Imperial Lodge occupies a wonderful location at the quieter end of Great Yarmouth’s traditional seafront. Overlooking the bright beach huts and sandy North Beach, it offers a convenient base for exploring the Norfolk and Suffolk coastline.

The Imperial Hotel has been welcoming guests to Great Yarmouth since the 1930s, and that same friendly, attentive service extends to Imperial Lodge. Many guests return year after year for the location, the value and the reassurance of staying with an established, independent hotel group.

Begin your Norfolk story with us and experience the comfort of Imperial Lodge and the added benefits of its distinguished neighbour.

  Wonderful stay at The Imperial

I just wanted to say what a lovely time we had at The Imperial!! I was there last week from the US for 4 nights with my sister and her husband and from the moment we checked in until we left we could not have been more welcomed!! My room was so comfortable and cozy with a great view overlooking the front. The front desk staff were all amazing and helpful - taking time to help with bus schedules and any questions we had. The breakfast was amazing and delicious- with Victoria, Sammy and Lara taking wonderful care of us!! We were able to chat with the new owner Grant at checkout - and you can tell that all the staff are passionate about their work! A definite “must stay” if you make it to Yarmouth! Thank you for making our visit back to see family even more special!
