Celebrating a century of hospitality

The Imperial Hotel team has been welcoming guests to Great Yarmouth since the 1930s, and that same friendly, attentive service extends to the recently acquired, adjoining Imperial Lodge. Many guests return year after year for the location, value and reassurance of staying with an established, independent hotel group.

For almost a century, the Imperial Hotel has welcomed guests from far and wide. After 90 years of ownership by the Mobbs family, Imperial Hotel is now part-owned by Hotel Director, Grant Smith, and an Employee Owned Trust, proudly retaining its independent status.

Acquired in Spring 2026, Imperial Lodge features 28 classically styled, well-kept rooms, making it an inspired choice for affordable short breaks and longer stays, with guests still able to draw upon the experience and care of the Imperial Hotel team.
